Oakdale, N.Y.- Marissa Schoeps and
Jeanine Encizo represented the Dowling women’s cross country team in this weekend’s NCAA East Regional Championship.
Freshman
Marissa Schoeps, an East Coast Conference (ECC) All-Conference first team member, finished in 24:14.5, giving her a 37th place finish on the day. Senior
Jeanine Encizo crossed the finish line with a time of 27:11.6, placing her 130th out of 183.
The overall winner on the day was Stonehill College, who’s team time was 1:56:34.9 while amassing 57 points. The women with the fastest overall time on the day was Jeptui Cherutich, of American International, who finished with a time of 21:54.4.
