WOMEN’S XC TAKES 3RD AT ECC CHAMPIONSHIP; TWO NAMED TO ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM
COMPLETE RESULTS
Brookville, N.Y.- Women’s cross country earned a 3rd place finish at the 2011 East Coast Conference (ECC) Championships this Sunday held on the campus of C.W. Post. In addition, Alyssa Liquori and
Marissa Schoeps both were named to the ECC All-Conference first team.
Liguori led the way for Dowling, finishing in a time of 19:27.58 on the 5k course. Schoeps earned a time of 19:49.20. Both would help the Golden Lions earn 102 points on the day, edging out 4th place finisher NYIT who finished with 105 points. C.W. Post tallied 56 points to take the ECC crown, finishing ahead of STAC, who earned 2nd place with 65 points.
