WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY TAKES 4TH AT HIGHLANDER INVITE
COMPLETE RESULTS
Newark, N.J.- Women’s cross country earned a 4th place finish at this year’s Highlander Invitational hosted by the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Alyssa Liguori led the way for Dowling, earning a 6th place individual finish.
The womens team had two runners break the old 5k Dowling record. Sophomore Alyssa Ligouri led the way with a time of 19:00 and a new school record. Right behind was freshman standout
Marissa Schoeps with a time of 19:06.
Jeanine Encizo set a personal best with a time of 21:18. Freshman
Annie Vincenti also ran a personal best time of 22:14 and
Regina Musgrove ran a season best of 22:43.
The Golden Lions finish up the regular season with the Connecticut College Invitational on October 15th.
