Oakdale, N.Y.- The Dowling College volleyball team took down Daemen College 3-0 this afternoon at Dowling Gymnasium. The Golden Lions improve to 13-8 and 7-3 in East Coast Conference play. The Wildcats fall to 1-22 overall, 1-9 ECC.
The Golden Lions came out strong to a 25-15 win in the opening set followed by a 25-16 win in set to taking a 2-0 lead in the match. Dowling closed out the match with a 25-12 win in the final set for the three set sweep.

Jessica Kalbfleisch had a match high 19 kills hitting at a .438 clip. Senior
Cassy Kelly finished with eight kills and 13 digs. Junior setter
Kayla Dillman dished 43 assists with junior libero
Kayla Morgan recorded a match high 16 digs.
Leading the Wildcats were Jakki Steck and Amber Drzymala with eight kills apiece. Katie McKrell tallied 14 assists with Drzymala coming in with a team high 12 digs.
The Golden Lions return to action tomorrow, October 19
th as they host Roberts Wesleyan College at 12:00 PM.
