PINDULIC NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y.- Amber Pindulic of the Dowling College women’s soccer team was named East Coast Conference Rookie of the Week this week for her efforts on the field.
Pindulic helped lead the Dowling College women’s soccer team to a 4-2 victory against the University of New Haven on Wednesday afternoon. Trailing 1-0 in the second half, Pindulic tied the game at one with the first goal of her collegiate career just minutes into the half. Five minutes later, Lindsey Thompson connected with Pindulic as she drilled her second goal, giving the Golden Lions a 2-1 advantage.
