Women’s Lacrosse | 2/9/2015 1:31:00 PM | ANDERSEN DUBBED LACROSSE MAGAZINE PRESEASON PLAYER OF THE YEAR Players Mentioned Bio Jackie Andersen #2 A 5′ 6″ Sr. COMPLETE RELEASEBALTIMORE, MD.- Dowling College senior attack Jackie Andersen has been selected as Lacrosse Magazine’s 2015 NCAA Division II Preseason Player of the Year, as announced Friday.Andersen, a three-time All-Conference First Team selection, led the ECC with 65 goals a season ago. She also placed second in the conference with 49 assists and 114 points. Her goal, assist, and point totals were all ranked in the top-10 in Division II and she finished second in the nation with 6.33 points per game. Andersen’s outstanding season also earned her a spot on the IWLCA All-America First Team. The senior enters this season 25 goals shy of surpassing 2011 graduate Cassandra Cronin and becoming Dowling College’s All Time leading goal scorer. Print Friendly Version
