Men’s Golf Head Coach


Jeff Di Marco enters his 17th year as the Dowling College Men’s Head golf coach, recently leading his team to their 6 consecutive NCAA postseason appearance. 

In the 2014 season Di Marco led the Golden Lions to the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional to which they finished in tenth place.
Senior Kurt Brey became the first Golden Lions to advance to the NCAA National Championship when he shot a team best 70 on the opening day of the Regional tournament and followed with a 71 and a 73. He finished tied for 63rd place at the NCAA National Championship. His 63rd place finish along with his spectacular season play earned him Division II PING All-Region honors.

Born in Holbrook, NY and a graduate from Sachem High School, Coach Di Marco has numerous educational achievements as well as goals on his resume.

He attended Suffolk Community College where he received his AS Degree in 1993.  He went on to obtain his Bachelors of Science in 1995 and an MBA in 2001 both at Dowling College.

In addition, he received his New York State Coaching Certification in 1995.  In 2013 after completing his apprenticeship, Coach Di Marco was elected into the PGA of America.

Di Marco was a member of the golf team at Suffolk Community College from 1991-1993. He was also on the Dowling College golf team from 1993-1995.

Coach Di Marco’s achievements consist of receiving the Dowling Golf Team MVP in 1994. In 1999 he was a MGA Public Link Championship Qualifier, holds certificates from various Golf Schools in the northeast. 
Being a member of the GCAA, was the recipient for a 10 year service award for outstanding service to the school and sport of golf.

Coach Di Marco runs junior and woman’s camps and clinics as well as teaching down in Florida during the off season. He also competes in local professional events.
