Sherran Wilson
Sherran Wilson, a pitcher from Murietta, CA, was a standout two sport athlete at Dowling.

In her first season on the mound for the Golden Lions, Wilson compiled a 23-9 record with 5 saves and fanned 125 batters to earn Second Team All-Conference honors. She continued her dominance on the mound as she went 17-8 and 14-11 the next two seasons.

In 2001, Wilson capped her Dowling softball career with a 26-10 and a trip to the College World Series. She compiled a career best 0.99 ERA with 153 strikeouts. Her performance on the mound earned her NYCAC and ECAC Player of the Year as well as Third Team All-American honors. Sherran finished her career with 80 wins, 487 strikeouts, 37 shutouts, and 1.16 ERA.

The two-time tennis All-Conference player shined in the classroom as well. She was named to the Northeast Region All-Acadmic Team in 2001 and was one of eight regional recipients of the Female Scholar Athlete of the Year Award given by the NCAA.
