Ryan McAleavey
An attackman for the Golden Lions lacrosse team, Ryan McAleavey led the team in his four years at Dowling (1996-1999).

A Brentwood, NY native, Ryan appeared in all 16 games his rookie year, scoring 35 goals while handing off 21 assists. He continued to dominate the Golden Lion offense in his sophomore campaign netting 55 goals and passing off 14 assists. His knack for finding the net earned McAleavey a spot among the top ten scorers in Division II.

Playing all 17 games in his junior year, McAleavey led the attack with 60 goals and added 15 assists to his stats to lead the team to an 11-6 record. He once again found his way to a national ranking climbing to the # 2 spot in Division II with a 3.53 goal per game average. His impressive performance earned him USILA All-America Honorable Mention honors.

McAleavey finished his Golden Lion career with a 40 goal season, averaging 2.5 goals per game and had 5 assists.
