Allie Merrill – 2015 Women’s Lacrosse

2015: She appeared and started 17 games 35 scored and assisted 4 goals and 39 earned points. Picked up 28 ground balls, 23 caused turnovers and 23 draw controls. She earned All Region and 1st team All-Conference.
Last season she played in 14 games and started in 12. She gathered eight points, with six goals and two assists. She also helped on defense with 28 groundballs and 18 caused turnovers. She finished with 12 draw controls. 
2013 Season: Allie started in all 17 games she played while assisting two goals.
2012 Season: Played in 21 games and started in 8. She recored her first two collegiate goals against Georgian Court University. 
Previous School: Graduated from Island Trees HS in 2012 where she played soccer, basketball, track, and lacrosse…Advanced to the County finals in soccer in 2008…Named All County in 2010, 2011, 2012… All County Honorable mention in lacrosse in 2012.
Academic: Majoring in Gerontology
Community/ Life: Volunteered for “Athletes helping Athletes” and Keep Islip Clean…Hopes to one day have a successful career… Hopes to one day win a national championship.
Getting to Know Allie: Her sister plays at soccer at SUNY Farmingdale…Her favorite professional sports team is theUS Women’s National Team and her favorite athlete is Alex Morgan…Her favorite sports movie is Miracle… Daughter of Robert and Catherine… Sister to Christina, Michelle.
