In his only season as a Golden Lion, Robert Moltisanti was a stand out on the lacrosse field and was named USILA All-American Honorable Mention.
Moltisanti began his season with recognition as he was named NYCAC Rookie of the Week. The Oakdale, NY native played all 16 games for the Golden Lions during the ’97 season and totaled 34 goals and an amazing 78 assists. Robert was the team leaded in both assists per game (4.88) and total points (112). He led NCAA Division II in scoring and was 2nd in points per game. Robert also set an all-time record for number of assists in a season and assists in a single game (16). With the help of Moltisanti, the Golden Lions led the nation in scoring.
