CROSS COUNTRY HAS BEST SHOWING OF THE SEASON

Connecticut College-The Men's and Women's Cross Country team competed Saturday at the Connecticut College Invitational. 



This past weekend the Golden Lions were back in action competing at the Connecticut College Invitational. The Men's and Women's team had impressive races which included personal best by several runners. Jonathan Cuomo (Shirley, NY)led the way for the men with a personal best of 26:48 for the 8k course. He was followed by Dennis Fliller (Rocky Point, NY)who ran a season best of 28:38. Freshman Trevor Atkinson (Pulaski, NY) set a personal best of 29:56. He was followed closely by Matthew Eble (Ridge, NY)who also set a personal best for 8k in a time of 30:15.
 
On the Women's side Lauren Hulse (Moriches, NY) led the way with a time of 25:15 for the 6k course. Stephanie Ingenito (Holbrook, NY) was the next Golden Lion to cross the line with a time of 26:58. Gloria Bouillon (Greenville, NY) and Regina Musgrove (Seaford, NY) were the next two finishers with times of 27:01 and 28:55 respectively.
