ROCHESTER, N.Y.- Senior
Scott Litts posted a first place finish out of 52 runners and was named ECC Runner of the Year at the East Coast Conference Championships this afternoon hosted by Roberts Wesleyan College.
Litts led the Golden Lions, completing the 8k course with a time of 25:31. Earning him ECC Runner of the Year honors, while senior
Marissa Schoeps led the way on the women’s side, finishing the 5k course with a time of 20:54.4 coming in 24
th out of 91 participants.
Following behind Litts were senior
Robert Mullen with a time of 27:19.2,
Vichinsky Elien with a time of 30:54.6, Idelfonson Cosma at 34:22.7 and
Jonathan Singh with a time of 35:10.6.
Matthew Goldstein and Herlis Reyes finished with times of 43:45.1 and 45:56.0 respectively. As a team, the Golden Lions finished 7
th out of 9 teams.
On the women’s side, following in behind Schoeps was sophomore
Erin Smith with a time of 23:58.1, while
Jackie Andersen and
Brie Ament finished at 26:38.0 and 26:48.5, respectively.
Ashley Firestone finished the course at 27:00.0.
