Scott Litts was named the 2011 East Coast Conference (ECC) Rookie of the Year, leading his team to a 5th place team finish at the ECC Championship on the campus of C.W. Post this Sunday.
Litts completed the 8k course in a time of 26:42.36, earning a 7th place individual finish for the day. His strong work ethic helped him succeed throughout the year, including starting off the season with a 1st place individual finish at the SUNY Purchase Invitational. Litts would also go on to be named the ECC Rookie of the Week two separate times this year.
The Golden Lions earned 115 points for their 5th place finish, beating out UDC, NYIT, and Bridgeport. C.W. Post ended up with the win, compiling 39 points.
