CROSS COUNTRY COMPETES AT NJIT HIGHLANDER CHALLANGE

BETHLEHEM, PA—The Dowling College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the NJIT Highlander XC Challenge.
 
Dowling’s men’s team placed 5th of 21 teams led by junior Scott Litts who placed 1st with a personal best of 25:24.73.  Robert Kelley finished with a time of 28:36.63, Robert Mullen at 29:38.89, Robert Radecki at 30:22.55, Phillip Sinkoff at 33:57.85 and Thomas Gaylor 42:42.23.
 
On the women’s side, Alyssa Liguori had a 6th overall finish with a time of 18:59.86.  Marissa Schoeps recorded a time of 20:12.39, Kayla Wahl at 21:47.98, Brittany Hohwald at 21:51.39, Brie Ament at 26:44.58 and Brittany Bourguignons with a time of 26:57.63.  The Golden Lions placed 5th overall out of 19 teams.
 
The Golden Lions return to action Saturday, October 12th at the Blue-Golden Invitational.
