CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y.-  The Dowling College men’s soccer team placed three Golden Lions on the East Coast Conference All-Conference teams.  Seniors Jose Herrera and Zacchious Ogoo were named to the First Team with junior Mike Gronenthal earning Honorable Mention recognition.
 
A two time All Conference member, Herrera finished the year with seven goals and one assist for 15 points on the season.  The senior posted multiple goals on two occasions as well as recording game winners against Queens College and Mercy College.
 
After earning All-Region honors in the 2013 season, Ogoo returned to anchor the Dowling back line that held opponents to a .116 shooting percentage.   The senior led the defense to posting five shut outs on the season.
 
Gronenthal led the Golden Lions with 16 points on eight goals.  He finished among conference leaders in goals and shot percentage, .333.
