Moussa Sy
Moussa Sy was an important part of the Men’s Soccer program from the moment he first stepped on the field in the 1998 season. The 6’0" midfielder/forward from Guinea, West Africa, received numerous awards during his playing career at Dowling.

His sophomore year was an amazing year for Sy. He received NYCAC Player of the Week Honors and also earned NYCAC Newcomer of the Year. He ended the ’98 season leading the NYCAC in scoring and goals.

His senior year in 2001 saw Sy garnish NYCAC Player of the Year honors along with being named a NSCAA First Team All-American. Sy scored 16 goals and added 6 assists for a total of 38 points on the season.
