Dowling College

PERRY, N.Y.- Four Golden Lions of the men’s lacrosse team have been named Division II All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).  Seniors Billy Richardson and Derek Muzio earn First Team honors with senior Matt Crough and Sheldon Burns earn spots on the Second Team.
 
Richardson, a midfielder, tallied 20 goals and 22 assists for 42 points for the Golden Lions. Muzio was a standout defender, with 49 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
 
Crough led the Golden Lions and the ECC with 52 goals on the season along with 10 assists for a total of 62 points.  He posted a season high eight point (4g, 4a) earlier this season against Chestnut Hill College.
 
Burns played in and started in each game of the season for the Golden Lions at long pole position.  He registered nine goals and three assists on the season while causing an ECC leading 45 turnovers and scooping 67 groundballs.
