RESULTSCHARLESTON, W. VA.– The Dowling College golf team finished the 2014 NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Super Regional in tenth place on Wednesday, shooting a 315 team score in the third and final round, played Edgewood Country Club, hosted by the University of Charleston.
The Golden Lions shot a 908 (+56) for the three-round tournament, finishing with a 299-294-315 and with a 214 three day score, senior

th advancing to the national championships later this month in Allendale, Mich.
Indiana (Pa.) won the Super Regional with a combined score of 863, followed by St. Thomas Aquinas’ 269. The two teams flip flopped positions on the final day of the tournament, as IUP shot a 295 to jump ahead of St. Thomas Aquinas 303 on Wednesday.
Brey shot a team best 70 on the opening day of the tournament and followed with a 71 and a 73 to become the first Golden Lions to advance to the NCAA National Championship.
Brian Allmendiger finished with a 229 three-day score shooting his best score of 76 on both day two and three of the tournament.
Brandon Moore rounded out the top scorers with a 231.
