Wilmington, Del.- Dowling returned to action this week in Wilmington, Delaware. Once again, cold weather proved to be a factor to the players in the field.
On the first day, Dowling struggled and posted a 313, good for 4th place. They were led by sophomore
Brandon Moore with a 75, and
Kurt Brey with a 78. Wilmington University, the No. 1 team in the region, led the tournament after day one.
On day two, Dowling roared back with great scoring from senior
Anthony Corsi‘s 73 and
Brandon Romano‘s 74. The Golden Lions were able to shoot the low team score of the day, 301, and were able to overpass Adelphi and Nyack to earn themselves a 2nd place finish.
The team will hit the course again on April 5th and 6th at Long Island National.
