Justyna Michon, a 5’10" outside hitter from Katowice, Poland has been a dominating force on the Dowling Golden Lions offensive line since she arrived. Over her career, Michon compiled some amazing statistics including being ranked first in Dowling College history with 2175 kills, third in hitting percentage at .357, second in service aces with 309 and third in block assists (237) and total blocks (286).

During her career, Michon led her team to back to back to back Northeast Region titles and trips to the Elite Eight. In 2005, the Golden Lions would lose in the Elite Eight to eventual National Champion Grand Valley State but Michon would earn AVCA Honorable Mention All-American honors.

2006 saw Michon lead her team to the Elite Eight for the second cosecutive season. A loss in the Quarterfinals would bring the team’s record to a close at 36-7 but Michon once again shined, compiling 517 kills and 74 aces to once again earn AVCA Honorable Mention All-American honors.

After earning ECC Player of the Year, MVP of the ECC Post-Season Tournament, and Daktronics All-Region Player of the Year, Justyna would once again lead her team to the Elite Eight in 2007. On the season she totaled 632 kills, 70 aces, and 76 total blocks. Her outstanding final season as a Golden Lion saw Michon earn 2007 AVCA All-America Third Team and Daktronics All-America Second Team honors.
