Iva Lukic was the first rower at Dowling College to be named an All-American. She garnered the prestigious honors after the 2006 season when she helped guide the Golden Lions to their first National Championship Regatta.
Lukic pushed her teammates to the limit and earned her spot in the Varsity 8 sitting stroke seat. She helped the team row to a 1st place finish at the Murphy Cup and Knecht Cup as well as at the Dowling Tri-Meet.
