George Haba came to Dowling in 1998 from Guinea, West Africa. Haba would make immediate contributions as he earned NYCAC Newcomer of the Week and NYCAC Player of the Week multiple times.
His junior season, Haba was third on the team with 7 goals and 17 points. He helped lead the team to the NCAA Final Four by making a crucial assist in the team’s Quarterfinal victory.
His senior year saw Haba lead the team with 26 points and was named a NSCAA First Team All-American.
