Dowling College Drug Policy
Recently the NCAA has increased its drug-testing program of NCAA Division II schools to include out-of-competition (year-round) testing. The NCAA realizes the importance of identifying potential risks student-athletes maybe participating in and believes that through education students can make the right choices. Dowling College has decided to adopt a pro-active approach in addition to the NCAA drug-testing program. Effective immediately, Dowling College will perform unannounced random institutional drug testing of all student-athletes year round.
Dowling College has chosen The National Center for Drug Free Sport as the Third-Party Administrator of their Drug Education and Testing Program in addition to serving as the official administrator for the NCAA.
