BROOKLYN, N.Y.- Dowling College baseball alum
Tyler Badamo continues to flourish on the Mets Class A affiliate Brooklyn Cyclones. After a 2-1 win in extra innings last night, the Cyclones improve to 12-5-1 on the season.
The 6-3 right hander was sent to the hill for the Cyclones season opener at the Staten Island Yankees where he allowed just two runs with five strike outs in six innings of work. The Cyclones went on to pick up the 3-2 win in 10 innings.
To date, Badamo is 1-1 in four starts. He has turned in 26.2 innings allowing just five runs (four earned) for a 1.35 ERA with 20 strikeouts and holding opponents to just a .151 average.
