Oakdale, NY-  The remarkable play by Women's Softball has earned the team a spot on the NFCA's Top 25 poll.   The Golden Lions, with a final record of 44-17, tallied 47 points for the 25th spot.  Although falling five spots in the rankings, the Golden Lions achieved great success this season. 

Coach Debbie DeJong led her team in winning the title of  ECC Conference Tournament Champions and a second straight NCAA post-season appearance. In addition, five Golden Lions earned ECC All-Conference honors. NFCA East Region accolades were also earned by members of the Golden Lions this season and a Daktronics All-America first team honor was bestowed upon Stephanie Tarango. 

Other ECC teams making the Top 25 list are Molloy College at No. 10 and , just missing the cut ,C.W. Post University who would go on to earn eleven points.
