CRONIN NAMED TO WOMENSLACROSSE.COM AND IWLCA ALL-AMERICAN SECOND TEAM

Oakdale, NY- After earning First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors,
Cassandra Cronin of the Women's Lacrosse team has added to her list of honors after being named a Second Team All-American by both the IWLCA and womenslacrosse.com.
Cronin becomes the first player in program history to be named an All-American.
Cronin continued her strong play from 2009, finishing the 2010 campaign ranked third in the East Coast Conference with 3.8 goals per game as well as 4.33 points per game. In addition to being ranked 8th in the nation in goals while leading her team in ground balls and caused turnovers,
Cronin also set a Dowling single season record by tallying 67 goals. Her efforts this year would earn her ECAC All-Star first team recognitions as well.
