Dowling College

Conshohocken, PA-  The Men's Rowing team would compete this past weekend during the NCAA DII East Regional Invitation, with three crews entering into races. 

Traveling with the Dowling Women's team, the Dowling Men would enter into races of their own, with the Men's Varsity 4+ lining up alongside Philadelphia University and two boats from Mercyhurst College.  Through calm waters, the Dowling crew would take a 4th place finish after crossing in a time of 7:03.2.  Mercyhurst A would take the win with a 6:38.2 finish. 

The Men's Varsity 2- would go up against Mercyhurst and Philadelphi in a three crew sprint.  The Golden Lions would edge out Philadelphia to take a second place finish in a time of 8:17.8.  Mercyhurst would cross in 7:43.2, good for first. 

Rounding out the races for the day would be the Men's Novice 4+, with Dowling going head-to-head against Mercyhurst.  Dowling would finish with a time of 7:29.1, just under 27 seconds off pace from first place Mercyhurst .
