Central Islip, NY - Frank Intagliata (Franklin Square, NY) has been named the East Coast Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Intagliata began his 2010 season with a bang, recording 7 hits in his first 12 at-bats for a .583 batting average. Three of his hits were triples, leaving him two short of Dowling's single season record, while connecting for hits in each of the Golden Lions' games on the week.

Intagliata also reached base three other times via two walks and a hit by pitch for a .667 on-base percentage out of the leadoff spot in the order.
