Oakdale, NY- Christie Marrone and
David Seagers of the Men's and Women's Basketball teams have been named to ECAC All-Star teams as announced by the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
Christie Marrone would earn first team honors for her contributions in leading the team to a 20-9 season.
Christie, a first team All-Conference and Daktronics East Region selection , finishes up her final collegiate season ranking 1st on the team in points (472), steals (62), assists (133), and 2nd with 162 boards.
Her totals also rank her 1st in the East Coast Conference in 3-point FG PCT (.407) and 3-point FG Made (87) while 2nd in assists and 3rd in steals.

Seagers, an ECAC second team member, would once again lead his team to an ECC playoff berth in 2009-10, finishing his career while leading
the Golden Lions in almost every statistical category and also ranking in the top ten in the conference in points per game, rebounds, assists, and steals.
Currently his scoring average is at 16.8 PPG, good for second in the conference. He also pulls down 6.3 rebounds per game, while also dishing out 60 assists and snatching 58 steals on the season.
A dynamic scorer,
Seagers has scored in double figures in 19 out of 26 games played on the season, while eclipsing the 20 point threshold 13 times. He has also led the team in scoring in 14 games on the year.
After being named the ECC Preseason Player of the Year,
Seagers has seen his name rise up the Dowling all-time scoring list in 2009-2010. With 438 points on the season, his career total of 1,834 ranks him second on the program's all-time list.
Seagers also has his name in the Dowling record books as the program's all-time leader in steals with 221.
