Dowling College

Riverhead, NY - The Dowling College Golf team will host the annual Dowling September Shootout, beginning tomorrow at Long Island National Golf Course in Riverhead, NY.

15 teams from across the Northeast will travel to Long Island to participate. Among the participants will be 5 teams that participated in last year's NCAA Tournament; Adelphi, U-Mass Lowell, Goldey-Beacom, Wilmington, and the Dowling College Golden Lions.

This year's Golden Lions squad has participated in three events, with their highest finish being 4th in the Goldey-Beacom Invitational. Seniors Luke Walters (Massapequa, NY) and Justin Fonseca (Great River, NY) lead the way for Dowling.

The first tee times are set for 11:00 AM. Spectators are welcome and there is no admission fee. For directions to the course, click here.
