Graduate midfielder
Kate Collins (North Caldwell, NJ) and senior forward
Vanessa Moreira (Selden, NY) have been named to the 2009 National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-East Region team.
Collins was named to the Second Team, while
Moreira earned Third Team honors. This is the second All-Region selection for both players, after they were also named to the Daktronics All-Region team in November.

Kate Collins put together an outstanding season in her one year in a Golden Lions uniform, being named to the ECC All-Conference First Team along with her All-Region selections.
Collins finished the season with 3 goals and 8 assists. Her 8 assists ranked her second on the team and third in the East Coast Conference.
Vanessa Moreira wraps up her outstanding career with her second straight selection to the NSCAA All- Region Third Team.
The ECC Co-Offensive Player of the Year,
Moreira finshed
her career as the program's all-time leader in goals (69), assists (29), and points (167).
This season, she would lead the ECC in goals (15), assists (12), and points (42).
Moreira would also have a propensity to come through in the clutch all season long, scoring seven game winning goals. Four of her game winners came in overtime including the Golden Lions' playoff victory over C.W. Post.
